Britton grew up in Birmingham, Michigan and spent much of her childhood in Los Angeles. She took her first yoga class with Jonny Kest who 20+ years later, she still credits for her love of the practice. Britton looks to Steve Ross, Vinnie Marino, Dana Trixie Flynn, Colleen Saidman, and Rodney Yee as major influences in her teaching style. While each is very different in background and methods, these teachers carry a light-hearted devotion, though deep knowledge of the practice.

Britton’s classes are upbeat and use non-traditional yoga movement interspersed with intelligent anatomical sequenced yoga. Her philosophy lies in that movement and music allow us to tap into our feelings and bodies a little deeper. To sum it up, just expect a BIG experience, unlike most other yoga classes.

Britton is a former entertainment executive who started her career at WME before moving into non-scripted television at Sony Pictures. She was the head of the talent division at Equinox Media and most recently the Executive Producer for Yoga + Meditation at Peloton. She and her husband Wade are the founders of VERAYOGA which has location in Tribeca, Williamsburg and Boerum Hill in New York City. Britton ovesees the yoga program at VERA and heads up of their 200 hours Teacher Training.
